Message	If you are running lean enough to detonate even under low load conditions, then the det. sensor will detect it and retard timing every time. Once the knock goes away, the ECU will return the timing to where it should be. At this point, the car will knock again and the timing is retarded. Like Ash said, air leaks on a mass air car can cause all sorts of wierd problems.
